Support the Library’s School Supply Drive

From library stacks to locker-filled hallways, we're making sure students are prepared for the upcoming school year. As your community connector, we are once again partnering with The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) to hold a school supply drive from Monday, August 10, through Sunday, September 13. The supplies collected play a crucial role in supporting teachers to stock their classrooms with basic items some students may not be able to afford while alleviating the financial burden of purchasing supplies themselves.

Next Steps 

Customers can bring the school supplies to our 18 open branches during normal business hours, which are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drop off the items in any of the bins labeled school supply drive.

After dropping off the school supplies, we invite you to stick around our branches to see how you can explore, learn, create and connect. We have dozens of free programs weekly, research databases to help students prepare for the school year and a large digital library to enjoy, including streaming, ebooks and audiobooks.
