New Art Showcase Aims to Highlight Emerging Young Artists

Up-and-coming new adult artists ages 18 to 25 are invited to submit their work for the fall exhibition "Share Your Vision" at the Hereford Branch, 16940 York Road, Hereford, Maryland 21111. This will be the first time the branch has spotlighted artists who are at the beginning of their creative journey and are seeking a venue to showcase their talent.

How to Apply 

Depending on the number of applications, submissions may be limited.  

  1. Review the library’s art exhibition policy and guidelines.
  2. Complete the application by Saturday, August 1.  

There is no cost to exhibit and artists may decide to sell their work. As per the art exhibition policy and guidelines, a portion of proceeds from artwork sold is donated to Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library. All media is accepted. 

Showcase Information 

The show will be on view during September and October with a free opening reception on Friday, September 11, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided as well as music from Baltimore artist Anthony Frijia.
