Every day, our branches bring people together through stories, conversations, technology, learning and the simple joy of sharing space with others. Connection is the heart of what we do, and it’s what makes our libraries such an essential part of life in Baltimore County.

This season, you have a special opportunity to strengthen those connections. Longtime library supporter Anne West has generously offered a $100,000 challenge grant to support Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library. Every dollar you give will be matched, up to $100,000. Your support helps fund the work that brings us together: author events that spark conversation, multicultural celebrations that honor our diversity, digital access that keeps everyone connected, and welcoming spaces where neighbors meet, learn, and grow. To receive the full match, we must reach our goal by Wednesday, December 31.

Donors who give $500 or more by Giving Tuesday, December 2, will receive an exclusive invitation to our Holiday Book Buzz on Thursday, December 4, at the Cockeysville Branch starting at 5:30 p.m. Our amazing Collection Development team will share the hottest reads of the season while you mingle and enjoy wine and passed hors d'oeuvres.
