Book Lovers Bash is back! This celebration of reading, authors and books brings together readers, authors and librarians to discuss and share the best thing in the world—books!

An Evening with Kimberla Lawson Roby 

When: Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m.

Where: Virtual—Register online.

New York Times bestselling author, Kimberla Lawson Roby will discuss her illustrious career as a writer and podcast host. Author of over 25 books, including the popular Reverend Curtis Black series, Roby is an NAACP Image Award winner who empowers and inspires women to reach their full potential.  

An Evening with Nathan Lents 

When: Thursday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Towson Branch—Book sales offered before and after the program, with book signings following the presentation.

Biologist Nathan Lents talks with WYPR's Ashley Sterner about his new book, The Sexual Evolution: How 500 Million Years of Sex, Gender, and Mating Shape Modern Relationships. Take a journey through the animal world and learn about the incredible array of sexual diversity and how nature has made space for diverse genders and sexual behaviors.   

An Afternoon with Chris Bohjalian

When: Sunday, March 16, at 2 p.m. 

Where: Perry Hall Branch—Book sales offered before and after the program, with book signings following the presentation. Limited seating available; first come, first served. Tickets available 30 minutes before program.

Acclaimed author Chris Bohjalian introduces his new book, The Jackal's Mistress, a riveting story of love, honor and sacrifice set during the Civil War. This versatile New York Times bestselling author discusses his books across all genres, his writing and answers questions. Before hearing from the author, librarians will share some of their favorite new titles. Sponsored by Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library.
