Job Readiness Training at the Library

Want to learn the basic skills for employment? Do you know someone who needs help preparing to enter the workforce? Job readiness training for adult job seekers is coming to the library this summer. 

The free training is offered in a series of workshops twice a week for three weeks. Workshops are designed to meet basic needs employers look for, including:

  • Building effective communication skills
  • Maximizing time in the workplace
  • Mastering basic etiquette
  • Dressing for success
  • Managing mindsets

The workshops are facilitated by a certified trainer from the County’s Workforce Development American Job Centers.

The trainings are offered by the Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development.
