Instructions for Downloading and Printing
A full house of tickets holders present at Camden Yards for the Orioles-Red
Sox game Tuesday, August 19, 2008 watched as statewide Summer Reading Club 2008
participants were honored in a pregame field ceremony. Maryland State Superintendent of
Schools Dr. Nancy Grasmick congratulated readers, right fielder Nick Markakis
presented each one with an Orioles hat and the Bird gave high 5’s. Twelve-year-old Keith
Alexander of Essex representing the Baltimore County Public Library was among Maryland's
2008 Summer Reading Club honorees.
Instructions for Downloading and Printing
You may download photos to keep on your computer or print to a
desktop printer. For your convenience, photos are available as JPEG
files.
Please note that some photos are very large, and portions may get cut
off when printing directly from the Web. These files are intended for
downloading.
DOWNLOADING AN IMAGE:
Save an image to your computer by either of the following methods. You
may also prefer another method specific to your browser and operating
system.
Method #1: "Right-click" (Windows)
or "CTRL-click" (Mac) on the JPEG link next to the image you would like
to download and select "Save Target As..." (Windows/Internet
Explorer) or "Download Linked File As..." (Mac/Safari). Save the image
to "My Pictures" (Windows) or "Pictures" (Mac).
Method #2: Click on the JPEG link and "Right-click" or
"CTRL-click" (as in method #1) on the image, after the image appears in your browser
window.
PRINTING AN IMAGE:
Print an image yourself by intuitively following the steps below.
Your computer may be set up differently than the instructions suggest.
You may also prefer another printing method specific to your software.
Step 1 (Windows):
Open "My Computer," then open "My Documents." Open the "My Pictures"
folder, and double-click on the image you saved.
Step 1 (Mac): Open "Macintosh HD," then select your User Account
Name. Open the "Pictures" folder, and double-click on the image you
saved.
Step 2 (Windows/Mac): Select the "Print" command or icon. Make
the appropriate color, paper, direction/orientation, and size changes
within your print dialog box before printing.
