From the basics of how to buy a car to researching prices and
trade-in values of new or used vehicles, this BCPL site is a good
starting place. The Kelley Blue book and NADA Guide links are
invaluable.
Automobile and Small
Engine Repair Databases
BCPL provides two online databases for your use in the library or at
home. The
Auto
Repair Reference Center covers repairs on most major cars and
trucks back to 1945. Or there is the
Small Engine
Repair Reference Center that contains the full set of Clymer
small engine repair manuals.

Baltimore County Public Library's Community Information Database
Containing listings for
local social service agencies, and arts and recreational services
and societies. Information on each agency includes telephone
numbers, address, agency description, contact people and hours of
operation. Searchable by name, subject, zip code or keyword. A few
search terms elder care, frail elderly, caregivers.
Baltimore County Department of Aging Information for Caregivers
The
Baltimore County Department of Aging Caregivers Program offers a
variety of services and resources to help family caregivers to
provide good care for older relatives, while also taking care of
themselves.
Baltimore County Department of Health Services for
Seniors
Provides a number of service through the Bureau of Community Health
Services to help keep residents in their homes. These services are
primarily for disabled adults and senior citizens at risk for long
term care placement.
Taking Care of Mom
and Dad
Program descriptions, eligibility requirements and contact
information for a wide variety of services to help older relatives
and friends get services, resources and information needed to remain
active and independent in Baltimore County, presented by the
Baltimore County Department of Aging and the Baltimore County
Commission on Aging.

Baltimore County Public Library's dateLines, Our Calendar of
Events
Baltimore County Public Library does not require tickets or
registration for most programs. The seating is first-come, first
served up to legal capacity of the room. For some programs where
a small group is desirable, such as Baby Boosters Story Time for
children ages 0 to 23 months, registration is necessary. These
programs are noted in the quarterly Calendar of Events listing
as "registration required". To register visit or phone
the library branch having the program during the week
preceding the program. Programs are free.

Storyville is a learning area for children birth to five that is designed to
