Guidelines for Baltimore County Public Library Events

  • All Baltimore County Public Library sponsored events are free.
  • Some Baltimore County Public Library events (such as Baby Story Times and hands-on technology) require registration due to limited space. These programs are noted with "registration required."  You can register for many of our programs online one week prior to the event via our online events calendar but you can always register for any event which requires it by visiting or calling the hosting branch one week prior.
  • Please arrive promptly. Many events fill up quickly and you want to be sure to get a good seat and to be settled and ready when the event begins.
  • Appropriate accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request.  Notice of eight business days prior to the event is requested.
  • There are many public events which are held in Baltimore County Public Library meeting rooms and which are not sponsored by the library but which are hosted by other organizations. You can learn more about booking the library's meeting rooms for external organization events on our Meeting Room Web Page.
