Information in the p4a Antiques Reference database is drawn from leading regional auction houses located throughout the United States plus other selected specialist auctions, and can be used to estimate the value of similar items for sale, for purchase or for insurance purposes, to substantiate a formal appraisal, to assist in a family division of property, or to learn what was paid for a specific item listed in the database.

The Grove Art Online provides web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art, and The Oxford Companion to Western Art. It contains more than 45,000 articles on painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts and photography - from prehistory to the present day. Topics include: biographies, criticism and philosophy of art, cultures and civilizations of the world, artistic styles and movements.

Associations Unlimited combines data from the entire Encyclopedia of Associations series and includes additional IRS information on nonprofit organizations, for a total of more than 456,000 organizations. Automotive repair information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, including most vintage makes starting as far back as 1945. Over 100,000 factory drawings and step-by-step photographs; 65,000 technical service bulletins and recalls issued by the original equipment manufacturer; wiring diagrams for easy viewing and printing; specifications and maintenance schedules and Labor Time Guide and Estimator.

Small Engine Repair Reference Center (EBSCO)

Contains the full set of Clymer small engine repair manuals, which includes thousands of concise step-by-step maintenance and repair instructions for hundreds of small engines and their components. Routine maintenance, such as tune-ups and brake service, as well as more extensive repairs are covered. Engines types include: motorcycles, ATVs, personal water craft, snowmobiles, lawn mowers, tractors, snow blowers, generators, and more.

A comprehensive database of biographical information on more than 200,000 people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Includes full text articles from 250 periodicals. Search for people based on personal facts, nationality, ethnicity, occupation, or gender. Or combine criteria to create a customized search.

A database designed especially for children in grades 6-12. Search by keyword or topic to find the most useful results, which can be sorted by source type: magazines, newspapers, flags, photos, encyclopedias, biographies, primary source documents, country or state reports, etc. Lexile level is given for each article.

Teacher Resources contains links to curriculum standards in the United States and Canada.

Hoover's, Inc., known as the Business Information Authority, provides company details such as description, contact information, competitors, and key personnel. This information can be used to prepare for client meetings, sales presentations, vendor and partner negotiations, and other business opportunities. News from the business world and scheduled Initial Public Offerings (IPO's) also included.

Forms for a variety of government services including the Departments of Labor, Housing and Urban Development; the Small Business and the Social Security Administration; etc. Common forms for general office, legal, real estate, and other business-related sources. Regional Business News (EBSCO)

Provided to Maryland library customers through the Sailor project.

This database provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. This database is updated on a daily basis.

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage

S and P's NetAdvantage is a comprehensive source of business and investment information. Contains full text book reviews and book lists for all ages: children, teens and adults. Locate books to read by describing a plot or find similar titles and authors for books already enjoyed. Also can use a series name to get a list of titles in the series.

Includes picture books, children's chapter books and young adult titles. Browse book lists, or search search by instructional unit, theme or topic. Find stories that are set in a particular country, or about different cultures. Full-text book reviews from sources such as Booklist and School Library Journal. Reviews often identify the instructional uses of titles, as well.
