Baltimore County Public Library - Ask A Question
We offer several ways to ask a question. When our librarians are not available, Maryland AskUsNow!, a 24 hours 7 days a week live online interactive chat service is available. It uses the expertise of librarians across the United States to provide Maryland residents and students of Maryland educational institutions with answers to questions, research guidance, and help navigating the Internet. Maryland librarians participate during assigned business hours. Questions needing local expertise are sent to Baltimore County Public Libraries for follow-up as needed.

Contains listings for local clubs, social service agencies, arts, recreational organizations that serve Baltimore County residents. Each agency record includes telephone numbers, address, agency description, contact people and hours of operation.

Four bookmobiles serve Baltimore County residents. Library on the Go Senior and Library on the Go Junior make community stops including senior centers and retirement homes around Baltimore County. Read Rover and Read Rover Plus provides library services to licensed child care centers in Baltimore County. Stories and or programs are presented at each scheduled Read Rover stop.

Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; second Saturday of the month 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Lends talking books also known as books on disc, cassettes, Braille, large print books, and descriptive videos to those unable to read standard print. Special equipment is loaned by the library to listen to the material. Textbooks, curriculum designed materials and popular music recordings are not available. Information on sources for this material may be obtained upon request. Materials and equipment circulated through the mail free of charge or through walk-in service.
