Statewide, 24-hours, 7 days a week, comprehensive information and referral service. Experienced staff members help callers connect to the resources that can help with their situation. This service is free and confidential. Callers may remain anonymous.

Baltimore County Cold Weather Shelters

ach year from November 15 to April 15, there are two cold weather shelters open 7 days a week from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.; dinner and breakfast are provided. The West Side shelter is on the grounds of Spring Grove Hospital, Catonsville, Maryland. Pick-up shuttle to the West Side shelter is located at the bus stop on the corner of Frederick Road and Paradise Ave from 6:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus line number 2/10 runs along Frederick Road. The East Side shelter is at the Eastern Family Resource Center, 9100 Franklin Square Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21237. There is a bus stop (bus line 31/35) in front of the building. Bus lines 4, 24 and 55 run near the shelter.

Homeless Women-Crisis Shelter Program
Provides shelter, room and board, counseling, and referral services to homeless women and children. For more information about the program, call 410-767-7297.
