Enforces child and spousal support court orders obtained through divorce
proceedings or through the Baltimore County Establishment Unit. Searches for
the absent parent, proves the paternity of the child, gets a court order for
support, collects support payments, enforces the court order and reviews and
modifies the court order. Persons applying for Temporary Cash Assistance
must file for child support before receive cash assistance.

year. Must show proof of residency and eviction notice to obtain help. Also
for water bill, utility turn-off or mortgage foreclosures and to purchase
heating oil, prescriptions and medical services/supplies.
