This agency registers family child care homes and child care centers and
monitors compliance with state requirements. Investigates complaints about both
registered and non-registered providers. Conducts preliminary
inspections of centers and homes. Provides help and information to people
getting started in day care. If you intend to apply for a license to operate
a family child care operation or child care center, you or your
representative must attend an orientation session held by the Regional III
Office.

World of Care is a day care center designed to care for 63 medically fragile
children 6 weeks to 5 years who have a medical
condition that requires daily nursing intervention,
such as pulmonary insufficiency, I.V. therapy or ventilator dependency. Also
offers on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy.
