Welcome to the Home Page for the Catonsville Recreation & Parks Council (CRPC). The Council is a volunteer non-profit organization which is monitored and certified annually by the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks (BCRP). Their role is to work with BCRP staff and assist in indoor and outdoor facility scheduling, and setting recreational policies for the Catonsville community. The Council works with members of the community to ensure that all their recreational needs are met.

The Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the evening. Prior to each general Council meeting, various volunteer program leaders meet with the Council executive officers and present their potential recreational program ideas along with a budget and facilities use schedule. The executive officers take this information and resolve any conflicts (eg. facility problems, etc) and then solicit approval for the program from the Council's voting membership. If the membership approves, the program is then put into operation by the program leader.
