Woodlawn Branch
Expansion
(November 10, 2005)
The newly expanded and renovated Woodlawn Library reopened on Thursday, November
10, 2005. We hope you will come and visit this new "state of the art" facility. You have to see it to believe it!
The library now has a beautiful, bright area for children, which is sure to please everyone. The children's space also includes a special, gated area for toddlers, and an Early Literacy activity center which will be enjoyed by children of all ages. There is also an exciting and colorful new Teen area our students will enjoy, and comfortable "book store" style seating areas for all of our customers.
Some other features of the new library include 27 public computers,
two small group meeting rooms, two tutoring rooms, study carrels, and much more seating. And, this new library is now completely wireless for those who wish to access the Internet on their laptops.
